2011, June. A new article has been posted to the website. Strategic Management Process - The Operating Stage. The final stage of a strategic management process is the Operating Stage. A company that moves through the first three stages of the process, remains in the Operating Stage forever, or until the company's business is totally revamped. During this final stage in the process, a company captures information that is fed back into the other three stages for management decisions regarding adjustments to key outputs of the process or improvements to operational performance. If implemented properly, the Operating Stage provides a solid foundation for a company to manage strategically and successfully over the long-term.

2011, March. A new article has been posted to the website. Strategic Management Process - The Building Stage. During The Building Stage of a strategic management process, a business performs the work necessary to optimize the results from its strategic direction and market strategy, and to sustain those results over the long-term. This article discusses briefly The Building Stage and the tasks necessary to satisfy its requirements.

2010, August. A new article has been posted to the website. Debian Stable - Perfect for Inexperienced Computer Users. Many people think Linux distributions are only for experienced, knowledgeable computer users, and it is true, some distributions can only practically be used by experienced users. Even some of the distributions that are rated by experts as easy to use, require periodic user actions that inexperienced users can find daunting. This is not true with Lenny. Once installed, Lenny performs its tasks elegantly and simply. It also will continue to perform its tasks for years more. In my opinion, Debian Stable seems to be the perfect Linux distribution, perhaps even the perfect operating system, for inexperienced computer users.

2010, August. A new article has been posted to the website. Strategic Management Process - The Translation Stage. To be effective, a market strategy must be internalized into the “fabric” of a company. The translation stage of a strategic management process is critical to internalization. Many companies ignore the work associated with the translation stage, and thereby never get the full payoff from their strategy.
